Not Suitable for Heating: These glass bottles should not be used for heating.
Handling Reagents: When taking out reagents, the bottle stopper should be placed upside down on the table. After use, the stopper should be tightly closed, and if necessary, sealed. The bottle's inner neck is ground and matches with a corresponding glass stopper, which must not be interchanged with another stopper. Therefore, glass-stoppered wide-mouth bottles should not be used for strong alkaline reagents. If alkaline reagents need to be stored, a rubber stopper should be used instead. This is because hydroxide ions from strong alkalis react with the silica in the glass, causing the stopper and neck to stick together.
Label Positioning: When placing the bottle, ensure the label faces outward.
Types: There are two types of bottles: clear and amber. Amber bottles are used for storing reagents that need to be protected from light.
